Recently, Bolivia’s President Evo Morales held a meeting with Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister D. Vu Van Mih. The two sides stated that they would strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the textile industry.
According to news released by the Bolivian President’s Office, after the meeting between the two countries, the leaders of both sides said that Bolivia and Vietnam can complement each other in many aspects. For example, Vietnam’s textile and garment industry has developed and prospered, and Bolivia has rich experience in natural gas and mineral extraction. Both sides can strengthen cooperation in the textile industry, natural gas and mining industries. Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Van Mih said that under the leadership of President Morales, Bolivia has achieved tremendous social and economic development and the quality of its people has significantly improved. He said: “In order to promote the development between Bolivia and Vietnam, we have agreed to continue to work hard to Strengthen cooperation between the two parties.”
