On February 2, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.

The recalled products are children’s robes made of 100% polyester fiber. It features a sewn-in side seam belt, a hood and two functional front pockets. Available in sizes 2T to 10 years old, the colors and prints are as follows: blue, plaid, red rose, blue shark, green dinosaur and white dinosaur. The following information is printed on the side seam label: “Fabric: 100% Polyester, Washing Instructions. Hand wash, maximum wash temperature 104℉, do not bleach, line dry, maximum ironing temperature 230℉, do not dry clean, wash separately, Slight fading is normal and made in China.”

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in the United States from January 2022 to June 2022, with approximately 3,000 units sold, priced at approximately US$14-17.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact SGMWVB for a full refund.
