On February 2, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.
The recalled products are children’s robes made of 100% polyester fiber. Features a sewn-in side seam belt, a hood and two functional front pockets, and may be sold with matching slippers. Available in sizes 3T to 14, in the following colors and prints: black, grey, rose, pink, white, dinosaur, blue and green. The following information is printed on the side seam label: “Fabric: 100% Polyester, Washing Instructions. Hand wash, maximum wash temperature 104℉, do not bleach, line dry, maximum ironing temperature 230℉, do not dry clean, wash separately, Slight fading is normal and made in China.”
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from August 2020 to June 2022. About 2,000 pieces were sold, priced at approximately US$16-25.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact BTPEIHTD for a full refund.
