Cotton yarn prices in Ludhiana have remained stable since last week. Demand is moderate due to downturn trends in the value chain.
A trader in Ludhiana said: “The demand for cotton yarn is not significant. Cloudy and cold weather did not improve the procurement of the weaving industry. Ludhiana Cotton yarn prices are stable.”
In Ludhiana, 30-count combed yarn is priced at Rs 280-290 per kg (including GST); 20-count and 25-count The trading price of combed yarn is 270-280 rupees/kg and 275-285 rupees/kg; 30 count carded yarn is stable at 260-270 rupees/kg.
In Delhi, there was no change in cotton yarn prices as the textile industry remained stable. A trader in Delhi said demand was unlikely to improve in the near term. The market price of 30-count combed yarn is 280-285 rupees per kilogram (including consumption tax), 40-count combed yarn is 305-310 rupees per kilogram, 30-count carded yarn is 255-260 rupees per kilogram, and 40-count carded yarn is 280 per kilogram. -Rs 285.
Panipat recycled yarn prices have not improved much. Traders said consumer buying volumes have not improved due to economic challenges. Domestic and export demand also continue to be sluggish.
10 count recycled yarn (white) is trading at Rs 88-90 per kg (GST extra). The price of 10-count recycled yarn (color-high quality) is 105-110 rupees per kg, 10-count recycled yarn (color-low-quality) is 80-85 rupees per kg, and 20-count recycled PC color (high-quality) is 110-115 rupees per kg. 30 count recycled PC dyeing (high quality) is 145-150 rupees per kilogram, 10 count optical yarn is 100-110 rupees per kilogram.
The price of combed cotton is 150-155 rupees per kilogram. According to TexPro data, the price of recycled polyester fiber (PET bottle fiber) is 80-82 pounds per kilogram.
Cotton prices in northern India also remained stable due to low arrivals.
According to traders, cotton arrivals have been reduced to 9,000 bales (170 kg each) due to cloudy and cold weather.
