Uzbekistan Presidential Network reported on October 6 that Uzbek President Mirziyoyev inspected the cotton textile cluster enterprise in Sekunabat District ( PolyTexSirdaryo). PolyTexSirdaryo introduces German technology and has an annual output of 7,000 tons of yarn, creating 700 jobs.
In the first half of 2022, the products will be exported to China, Turkey, Bangladesh, etc., with a total value of approximately US$2.5 million. Currently, there are 9 cotton textile clusters in Syr Darya Oblast. It is expected to harvest 268,000 tons of raw cotton this year, all of which will be processed in the region. Mirziyoyev instructed that enterprises should serve the interests of the people and actively create more jobs.
