On the afternoon of March 24, Wen Yong, deputy director of the Sichuan Provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau, led relevant personnel from the provincial and state fiber inspection bureaus to Ningnan County to investigate the development of the cocoon and silk industry. Relevant persons in charge from the Ningnan County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and County South Silk Road Group participated in the on-site investigation and discussion.
The research team went to the National Ecological CocoonSilk ProductQuality Supervision and Inspection Center (Liangshan) project construction site, Cocoon Silk Industrial Concentration Zone, through on-site visits, personal experience, and listening to reports, we learned in detail about the project construction and raw silk production and storage conditions.
At the symposium, the two parties conducted full exchanges and discussions on improving the quality of cocoon silk, increasing quality control, and displaying brand image.
The research team pointed out that it is necessary to closely focus on the national rural revitalization strategy and be guided by the construction of the “10+3” modern agricultural industry system of the Sichuan Provincial Committee to comprehensively improve the quality of Ningnan cocoon silk. Strictly implement technical standards, increase quality management training, and produce high-quality cocoon silk raw materials; scientifically control the production process, promote standardized production, and reel high-standard raw silk products; enhance brand image, increase publicity efforts, and allow high-quality silk to pass the label culture is fully demonstrated.
