Vietnam imported nearly 100 million U.S. dollars of fabrics last year

According to Vietnam’s “Economic Times” report, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that Vietnam imported nearly US$3.2 billion in fabrics in the first seven months, a year-on-year increase of 34%. At the same time, imports of other textile raw materials increased significantly. Among them, cotton imports were US$362 million, a year-on-year increase of 98%; yarn imports were US$620 million, a year-on-year increase of 47%.
According to reports, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports in the first seven months were US$5.873 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%.
