On July 9, 2010, Health Canada and Norseman jointly announced.
The house-style tents recalled this time are equipped with a portable suitcase. “Norseman” and specifications are marked on the suitcase. The product name, model and UPC code of the recalled design are: Norseman 10x12x5x8.5 Luxury House Norseman 12x14x5x8.5 luxury house tent, YAN10x12DLX, 061547101254; Norseman 14x16x5x9.5 luxury house tent, YAN14x16DLX, 061547141656. The tent was sold at Campers Village stores and other stores in Canada from September 2007 to May 2010, or directly through Norseman.
The number of products recalled this time is about 650. The reason for the recall is that the materials used in the tent do not meet Canadian standards for flame retardancy. To date, Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled house tents and contact the Campers Village store for returns and free replacement of other products.
