On February 2, 2022, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.
The recalled product is BAOPTEIL’s 100% ultra-fine polyester children’s robe. Products come in a variety of colors and patterns, and sizes 2T-14 years. The product has a hooded long sleeve, two front pockets, a belt, and a side seam label with “Made in China”, measurements, fiber content, and washing instructions.
The product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold on the Amazon website from December 2019 to August 2021. About 3,800 pieces were sold, priced at US$6-19.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact Amazon or BAOPTEIL for a full refund.
