India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In November, India exported 110,600 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month decrease of 5.15% and a year-on-year increase of 27.77%. In the 2021/22 fiscal year (August-November), India exported 460,200 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 29.26%. Currently, Bangladesh (38.7%) and China (23.5%) are still India’s main cotton yarn exporters, accounting for a total of 62.2%.
