Textile and apparel exports continued to grow in April, with the growth rate declining compared with March. According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, in terms of RMB, exports in April were 149.11 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7%, of which textile exports were 67.71 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%, and clothing exports were 81.4 billion yuan, an increase of 11.6%. The cumulative exports from January to April were 527.65 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4%, of which textile exports were 228.12 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1%, and clothing exports were 299.53 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7%. In terms of US dollars, exports in April were US$21.61 billion, an increase of 3.6%, of which textile exports were US$9.81 billion, an increase of 1.6%, and clothing exports were US$11.8 billion, an increase of 5.4%.
