In April 2017, Vietnam exported 1.874 billion US dollars of textile and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 7.19%, and a month-on-month decrease of 10.90%; the export of yarn was 106,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.34%, and a month-on-month decrease of 7.45%.
In April 2017, Vietnam imported 111,800 tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 18.78%, and a month-on-month increase of 0.29%; imported yarns were 69,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.37%, and a month-on-month decrease of 16.44%; imported fabrics were US$991 million, a year-on-year decrease of 0.38 %, a month-on-month decrease of 0.46%.
From January to April 2017, Vietnam exported US$7.52 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 9.93%; exported 401,700 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 18.82%.
