In order to implement the opinions and suggestions of the Municipal People’s Congress deputies on “strengthening the joint management of fire safety hazards in the dyeing and finishing industry,” recently, the Zhejiang Tongxiang Municipal Emergency Management Bureau jointly formed 2 inspection teams with 9 departments including economics, fire protection, and market supervision. A special fire safety management inspection was carried out on the dyeing and finishing industry in the old industrial park in Puyuan Town.
We inspected Tongxiang Luhuang Bleaching and Dyeing Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhongxin Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd., Tongxiang Dongqi Fiber Finishing Co., Ltd. and other 18 dyeing and finishing companies found 52 hidden dangers on site such as blocked fire passages, old and damaged fire protection facilities, insufficient fire separation distances, and illegal construction. Among them, 28 had been rectified on site and the remaining 24 had been rectified on site. The rectification is required to be completed within a time limit.
The next step will be to continue to strengthen the investigation and rectification of fire safety hazards in key industries such as dyeing and finishing, strictly prevent fires and other accidents, and effectively protect the safety of people’s lives and property. </p
