At present, PBS and PBAT are recognized as the best comprehensive biological products in the world. Biodegradable materials are also the most widely used variety of biodegradable plastics. They can be degraded into oxygen-containing compounds such as carbon dioxide and water through the action of microorganisms in the natural soil-covered environment. They are an environmentally friendly polyester material that is widely used in Food packaging, catering utensils, medical, agricultural film, injection molding, foam materials and other fields. As early as the end of last year, Hengli’s new PBS biodegradable polyester material project with an annual output of 33,000 tons had achieved one-time success, marking Hengli’s official entry into the field of new degradable polyester materials.
The project started this time is planned to be completed and put into production in 2022. By then, it will become the largest and highest-capacity biodegradable new material base in China. For Dalian and even Liaoning It is of great significance to extend and strengthen the chain in the region. To a certain extent, it will change the current situation of Liaoning having more than enough “refining” but not enough “chemicals”, and having more than enough raw materials but not enough value-added chain, and promote the development of the “original brand” industry to the middle and high end of the industrial chain and value chain.
