On December 21, 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.
The recalled product is Urban’s children’s plush robe. Available in sizes XS-L and available in a variety of colors and styles. The specific recalled product information is as follows:
After a random inspection by Health Canada, it was found that the product did not meet the flammability requirements of children’s pajamas regulations in the children’s pajamas regulations, and there was a risk of causing severe burns to children over large areas.
The product was sold in Canada from September to December 2021, with approximately 6,466 units sold.
As of December 10, 2021, there are no reports of accidents or casualties.
Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and return the product to UrbanKids for a refund.
