The recalled product is Urban girls’ FunzietimeCharacter hoodie. The product has a drawstring at the waist, sizes range from XS to L, and comes in a variety of colors and styles. The specific recalled product information is as follows:
The drawstring of the product may get stuck on playground equipment, fences, cars and other objects, causing children to be entangled or dragged.
The product was sold in Canada from July to December 2021, with approximately 10,823 units sold.
As of December 8, 2021, 3 accident reports have been received, and no accidents or casualties have been reported.
Health Canada advises consumers to remove the drawstring immediately and return the product to UrbanKidsStore for a refund.
