In September 2021, Vietnam exported 2.277 billion US dollars of textile and clothing, a decrease of 14.21% from the previous month, and a decrease of 21.01% from the same period last year; it exported 144,900 tons of yarn, a decrease of 7.26% from the previous month, and a decrease of 13.12% from the same period last year. ; Imported cotton was 159,300 tons, a month-on-month increase of 19.74%, a year-on-year increase of 46.47%; imported yarn was 60,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 14.27%, a year-on-year decrease of 32.44%; imported fabrics were US$990 million, a month-on-month decrease of 1.6%, a year-on-year increase of 0.74%.
From January to September 2021, Vietnam exported textiles and clothing to US$23.408 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; exported yarn was 1.4636 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%.
