During the week, export orders for combed yarn from India decreased, resulting in lower quotations. In addition, factory product inventories have increased due to increased production and traders’ lack of funds, and the price of combed yarn in the domestic market has also fallen.
Overall, high-count yarns have a greater impact than low-count yarns because there is less demand in summer. However, the price of medium and low-count carded cotton yarn is generally stable. The price of chemical fiber yarn increased due to stable demand and a correction after the price drop last week.
