On June 24, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made girls’ pajamas.
The recalled product is LaPaloma girls’ pajamas. Products are made of 100% cotton, available in sizes 2-9, and available in various prints. The label reads “100% Cotton.MadeethicallyinChina.Turninsideout,machinewashcoolwithlikecolorstumbledrylow.Donotbleachoriron”.
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled product was sold on shoplapaloma.com from November to December 2020. About 70 pieces were sold, priced at about US$58.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported
U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and contact LaPaloma for a full refund.
