On June 30, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled products are 10 models of Booph’s 100% cotton children’s pajamas. Sizes are 2-3T, 3-4T, 5Years, 6-7Years, 7-8Years, 9-10Years. The short-sleeved or long-sleeved pajamas are printed with fruit prints in white, blue, purple, pink and other colors. “100% Cotton” and “Made in China” are printed on the label.
The product does not meet federal flammability requirements for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold on Amazon in the United States from March to June 2021. About 4,900 pieces were sold, priced at US$9-16.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
The U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Booph for a full refund.
