On July 8, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.
The recalled product is Sovereign Athletic’s children’s robe. Product is navy blue, has front pockets and waist belt, is made of 100% polyester, and comes in sizes 4-16, GPU#W19-GP15. “SovereignAthletic” and “MadeinChina” are printed on the collar label.
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children. .
The recalled products were sold in physical stores and online in the United States from December 2019 to May 2021. About 140 pieces were sold, and the price was about 50. Dollar.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
