The new Silkworm Breeding Research and Breeding Center will have a construction area of 18,000 square meters. rice. The construction content includes: a new silkworm and juvenile silkworm co-breeding base, a fine variety protection center, a silkworm germplasm resource gene bank, a scientific research center, a fine breeding protection center, a high-quality production workshop, etc., and supporting corresponding equipment and facilities. The project will officially start construction in January 2022, and the entire project is expected to be completed and put into use in December this year. After the project is completed, it will play a key role in silkworm breeding in Jiangsu Province and further promote the healthy development of the sericulture cocoonsilk industry chain in Hai’an and surrounding areas. The mulberry cocoon silk primary, secondary and tertiary industry integrated development project is invested by Xinyuan Cocoon Silk Co., Ltd., a national leading agricultural enterprise, with an investment of 160 million yuan. The project will start construction in January 2022. The project will build a new mulberry cocoon silk production workshop, product display, and cultural Creative and product research and development center with a total construction area of 30,000 square meters. The construction content includes: a cocoon high-grade ecological silk production workshop of 1,000 square meters, and the purchase and installation of production equipment. There are 20,000 square meters of silkworm cocoon and silk product experience, display and shopping areas, and 10,000 square meters of silk culture and creative design center and product research and development center. Through product research and development, technological innovation and cultural creativity, we will further extend the sericulture, cocoon and silk industry chain and accelerate the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries. After the completion of the project, annual sales will increase by more than 500 million yuan.
