On August 4th and 5th, Pan Zhixin, head of the Guangxi Mashan Mission of the National Rural Revitalization Key Assistance County Science and Technology Mission and director of the Nanning Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Sericulture Industry Technology System, led a group of 10 experts from the sericulture industry group Go to Mashan County to carry out technical service work.
On the 4th, a group of experts went to the sericulture base of Linglitun Jinxiu Cooperative in Qiaoli Lewei Village, Mashan County for on-site guidance. They learned about the cooperative’s production situation in the first half of the year and discussed sericulture with more than 10 representatives from surrounding large sericulture households. Discussions and exchanges were held on the occurrence of common diseases, disinfection and disease prevention, and the price of silkworm cocoons to answer practical problems in production for silkworm farmers.
On the morning of the 5th, Gu Guoda, director of the China and Global Economic Policy Research Center of Zhejiang University, professor of the School of Economics of Zhejiang University, and working scientist of the National Sericulture Industry Technology System, gave a speech titled “Rural Revitalization and County Economic Development” at the Mashan County Conference Center. The academic report gave a detailed interpretation of the “three rural issues” and the implementation of the new rural revitalization strategy, and explained the new pattern of promoting rural revitalization development in a simple and profound way.
Huang Weichang, deputy secretary of the county party committee, main leaders of relevant units under the county government, party and government leaders of each township (town), and representatives of the first secretary attended the academic report meeting.
