On August 9, the Shandong Sericulture Research Institute held the 2022 half-year working meeting. To do a good job in the second half of the year, Cheng Hongbing, secretary of the party committee of the institute, emphasized that six “sustained efforts” must be achieved. First, we must continue to work hard to improve our scientific and technological innovation capabilities. Further implement the decentralization of the “five powers” of chief experts to activate the team’s vitality and innovation capabilities; continuously expand the source channels and levels of scientific research projects, further refine and decompose responsibilities, and actively strive for projects. Second, we must continue to work hard on the transfer and transformation of results. Actively organize revenue and increase the intensity of achievement transfer and transformation; organize and participate in the Autumn Achievements Auction of the Academy to strive to exceed last year’s performance; do a good job in the implementation of various work requirements and task indicators of the “Three Breakthroughs”, and use demonstration counties as the main focus of achievement transformation and technology demonstration battlefield. Third, we must continue to make efforts in cultivating talents. Strengthen the construction of the three teams, establish a classified management and assessment mechanism, and stimulate the entrepreneurial enthusiasm of all types of personnel; continue to increase talent introduction efforts, focusing on the introduction of high-level talents; actively recommend and select young scientific and technological personnel to go out for training or help work. Fourth, we must continue to make efforts to promote reform. Adhere to scientific classification and quantitative assessment, and adhere to fair distribution; strengthen financial management, implement all-factor accounting and internal settlement systems; promote logistics management reform, and solidly carry out the construction of “Safe Sericulture Institute”. Fifth, we must continue to work hard on the “threefold” work. Focus on the construction of expert apartments to ensure that they are capped on time; start the dormitory purchase and allocation work as soon as possible; speed up the opening of the Jiaodong Center and the relocation of the Sericulture Institute. Sixth, we must continue to work hard to comprehensively and strictly govern the party. Comprehensively implement the responsibility of strict party governance, focus on political construction, ideological construction, grassroots party building, organizational construction and party style and clean government construction, and continue to promote the construction of the “Integrity Sericulture Institute”; conscientiously implement the requirements of the institute’s inspection and rectification work, and promote inspection and rectification Party building and various tasks.
