India extends anti-dumping duties on nylon tire cord imports from China again

India’s Central Bureau of Excise and Customs has extended the anti-dumping duties on nylon tire cord imported from China for another five years in a notification. The bureau took this measure after conducting an investigation. The original anti-dumping duties will expire in early September.
This anti-dumping duty was initially imposed in 2005, with a range of US$1.24-1.76/kg. With the re-imposition of anti-dumping duties, India also launched a protective investigation into the import of nylon tire cord imported from China.
