Sudan to build first leather city

According to Sudanese media reports, Sudan will establish its first leather city in the capital Khartoum to meet domestic demand for leather products and promote the development of national industry. The Minister of State for Industry of Sudan said that the Ministry of Industry has submitted a feasibility report on establishing a leather city to the Cabinet Committee, which comprehensively studies the policies and problems faced by Sudan’s leather industry.
