On January 26, 2009, the European Commission’s Rapid Alert System for Non-Food Products (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning on Chinese-made “Aliveund Pocopiano” brand Halloween costumes. The country notifying this case is Germany. The Halloween costume notified this time is a triangular cloak made of black fabric with white spider and cobweb patterns printed on it.
Because this Halloween costume uses disperse dyes and nitrogen-containing dyes, there is a chemical risk. This product does not comply with EU Chemical Restriction Directive 76/769/EEC.
At present, the German government has ordered the recall of products that have been sold.
To this end, it is recommended that relevant domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
