Bosnian company sells “Obama” men’s clothing

Not long after Obama was elected as the next president of the United States, his elegant and decent dressing style inspired the Bosnian Borac Clothing Company to name a series of high-end men’s clothing after him.

Company manager Ahmed Coric said that Obama was named after the company’s high-end business suit series, which had previously sold well in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

Coric said: “Obviously naming it Obama is because the president-elect of the United States is a person who has good taste and rarely knows how to dress.”

Coric said the company also hopes to express its respect for the United States. The United States provided funds to the company to help it resume production after the Bosnian War in the 1990s. Agence France-Presse said that Borac is the oldest clothing company in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has cooperative relationships with many well-known European clothing brand manufacturers.

The U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina said: “We cannot comment on behalf of the president-elect, but the U.S. Embassy has always welcomed actions that symbolize friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
