In 2007, the export volume of matte towels ranked first in the country. Although my country’s textile industry has faced difficulties in exporting since 2008, the export volume of matte towels from January to October still increased by about 26%, and the sales price increased by 10-16%. It is understood that more than 80% of Yaguang’s towels are currently exported overseas, of which the US market still accounts for 30% of exported products. What is different from the past is that now Yaguang’s overseas market has become more balanced. In addition to traditional markets such as the United States, the European Union, Japan, Canada, and Australia, emerging markets such as South America and Russia also performed well.

Since 2008, due to factors such as the appreciation of the RMB and rising labor and raw material costs, the export of my country’s textile and apparel industry has been hindered, causing export-oriented textile and apparel companies to face survival difficulties. Facing the increasingly severe textile export situation, Yaguang still has confidence in its prospects. Fu Qingmin said: “This is mainly due to the enhancement of enterprises’ independent innovation capabilities and the cultivation of market brands over the years. Factors such as the adjustment of the RMB exchange rate will accelerate the upgrading of my country’s textile enterprises and highlight the important value of innovation capability building. ”

It is understood that the reason why matte towels have a high market share abroad is directly related to the continuous increase of technological innovation by enterprises and the continuous launch of new products. In 2007, Yaguang Enterprise Technology Center obtained national recognition. At present, Yaguang is actively striving to take on the responsibility of formulating national towel industry standards. Enterprises are now actually organizing production according to international standards.
