Brazil implements temporary anti-dumping measures on viscose fiber imported from China

On October 9, Brazil’s official communiqué stated that Brazil has decided to implement temporary anti-dumping measures for six months on viscose fiber (tariff number 55041000) imported from mainland China, Taiwan Province of China, and Austria. According to the resolution passed by the Brazilian Foreign Trade Commission, special taxes of $0.18/kg, $0.39/kg, and $0.33/kg will be levied on viscose fibers imported from mainland China, Taiwan Province of China, and Austria.
