Reduce taxes on New Zealand exports of clothing by two percentage points

Ningbo City can reduce tariffs by two percentage points on exports of New Zealand textiles, clothing and mechanical and electrical products.

The Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau recently reminded that starting from this month, some export companies in Ningbo can obtain preferential tariffs for exporting to New Zealand with certificates of origin.

According to the Free Trade Agreement signed between our country and the New Zealand government, New Zealand promises to eliminate tariffs on all imported products from my country before January 1, 2016. Among them, primary agricultural products, chemical products, fur and leather products, paper raw materials and products, textile raw materials and fabrics will enjoy zero tariffs starting from next month. According to New Zealand’s tariff concession schedule for goods of Chinese origin, textiles, clothing and mechanical and electrical products with large export volumes from Ningbo can enjoy a tariff preference of at least two percentage points from next month, and will be able to enjoy a tariff preference of 6 to 8 percentage points by 2009. .

It is understood that for the convenience of enterprises, Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has opened the Sino-Singapore Certificate of Origin visa business for enterprises that have registered and filed certificates of origin. Relevant enterprises can directly apply for certificates from local inspection and quarantine agencies.
