Ministry of Commerce will take measures to stabilize textile exports

The Ministry of Commerce of China recently pointed out in its reply to the proposal letter of the Hong Kong Textile Chamber of Commerce “On Alleviating the Operating Difficulties of Textile Enterprises”:

The Ministry of Commerce of China has decided that the proposed processing trade restriction policies will not involve labor-intensive industries such as garments for the time being; in order to take into account the overall situation of industrial structural adjustment and industrial upgrading of the textile industry, as well as the stable tax policy, a stable tax policy can create new opportunities for enterprises. Given the stable market environment, it is recommended that China’s national tax policy should remain relatively stable.
