A square eye is called a square eye, as shown in Figure 2-70. It is formed by the fact that the tensions of the upper and lower layers of warp yarns are close to equal, so that in the fabric formation, it cannot alternately move and move with each other like two layers of warp yarns with unequal tension, and make up for the gaps of the teeth after wefting. It has three types: full width, half width and edge. Most square eyes are long fragment continuity. Square eyes damage the appearance quality of the grey cloth and cannot meet the requirements of plump and flat fabric surface. Generally, square eyes are processed and sorted after printing and dyeing, and the warp and weft directions are contracted and stretched, which can be remedied and disappeared. However, serious square eyes will still be exposed. Therefore, except for a few varieties of low-ultra-high-twist thin fabrics with special style requirements, the production of square clothing should be avoided.
