On May 20, 2020, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.

The recalled products are BunzKidz children’s pajama sets, including robes, tops and pants. Available in sizes 2-12. Tunic and trousers are made of 100% polyester polar fleece with a pink star print on a white background; top is made of 100% polyester and has long sleeves. The sewn blue label has BunzKidz printed on it, and another label has model numbers L23846, L43846, L73846, and GPU numbers 2017-246, 2017-446, and 2017-746.

This product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and poses a burn hazard to children.

The recalled products were sold in various physical stores and online stores such as Amazon and Walmart in the United States from August 2017 to December 2019, with approximately 6,600 units sold. , priced at US$24-48.

So far, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.

CPSC advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and contact StargateApparel for a full refund.
