Data released by the General Administration of Customs on May 17 showed that from March 1 to May 16, a total of 134.4 billion yuan worth of exported epidemic prevention materials were inspected and released nationwide. Among them, there are 50.9 billion masks; 216 million protective suits; 81.03 million pairs of goggles; 162 million new coronavirus detection kits; 72,700 ventilators; 177,000 patient monitors; and 26.43 million infrared thermometers; 1.04 billion pairs of surgical gloves. The main export destinations for epidemic prevention materials are the United States, Germany, Japan, France, and Italy. General trade accounts for 94%, with a value of 126.3 billion yuan. China’s export of anti-epidemic materials provides support and guarantee for the international community’s joint fight against the epidemic, reflecting the responsibility of a responsible major country.
