On March 31, 2020, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement to launch an anti-dumping investigation into polyester filament originating in China at the request of the Mexican Akra company. The Mexican customs tariff number of the product involved is 5402.3301.

The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the damage investigation period is from July 1, 2016 to June 2019 30th. Interested parties must submit complete answers, comments and evidence that meet the requirements of the investigating agency before 14:00 on May 14th, Mexico time.
