The Turkmenistan State News Agency reported on April 18 that in the week of April 13-18, 68 contracts were registered at the Turkmenistan State Commodity Raw Materials Exchange.
In terms of foreign exchange transactions, buyers from Switzerland, Malta, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan purchased hydrorefined diesel and base oil from the Turkmenbashi Petroleum Processing Complex, and Russia and Afghanistan Buyers purchased polypropylene and ECO-93 gasoline from the Turkmen Natural Gas Country Concern, and buyers from Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, Malta, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan purchased handmade carpets and cotton yarn. The total contract value exceeded US$33.977 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, and Afghanistan purchased textile products, with a total contract value of more than 2.684 million manats.
In the domestic market, Turkish companies purchased high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, plastic pallets, cotton fibers, and handmade carpets from the Turkmen Natural Gas State Concern, with a transaction volume of more than 3514.9 Wan Manat.
