Kazakhstan News Agency, Nur-Sultan, March 25th, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development announced that the ministry conducts statistics on national mask production every day. As of March 24, Kazakhstan produced 848,000 masks every day, of which 265,000 were produced by pharmaceutical companies and 583,000 were produced by sewing companies. There are also 687,000 pieces in stock across the country. The medical masks produced are distributed by the Ministry of Health to various regions across the country, and gauze and fabric masks are sold under contracts with local governments.
Currently, six medical mask manufacturers in Kazakhstan have started production at full capacity, including Dolce Company (Almaty Oblast), Super-pharm Pharmaceutical Company (Jiangxiang) Burr Region), MegaPharma Pharmaceutical Company (Zhambyl Region), MedicalActive Group (Almaty City), Merusar Company (Pavlodar City), TK Pharmaceutical Company (Aktobe City). Together with other sewing companies, Kazakhstan’s maximum mask production capacity can reach 1 million pieces per day.
