On January 22, 2020, the Committee on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-tariff Trade Barriers of the National Institute for Competition and Intellectual Property Protection of Peru published the first article in the official daily newspaper “El Peruano”. Resolution No. 001-2020/CDB-INDECOPI made a final anti-dumping ruling on poplin fabrics (Spanish: tejidos tipo popelina) originating in China and decided not to impose anti-dumping duties on the Chinese products involved. The resolution will take effect from the date of issuance. The products involved are taffeta-type, white or dyed polyester-cotton original fabrics with a width of less than 1.8 meters and a unit weight of 90-200 grams/square meter.

The tax numbers of the products involved are 5407.81.00.00, 5407.82.00.00, 5512.19.00.00, 5513.11.00.00, 5513.13.21.00.00, 5514.11.00.00, 5514.21.00.00.
