On December 20, 2019, Health Canada announced a recall of children’s coats made in China and Bangladesh.
The recalled products are children’s coats with drawstrings and buttons on the hood or waist. The specific recalled products are as follows:
The drawstring on the hood of this product may become entangled or stuck on playground equipment, fences, vehicles or other objects, posing a risk of suffocation or being dragged away to children.
The products recalled were sold in Canada from October 2019 to December 2019, with approximately 236 products sold.
As of December 16, 2019, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
