The Turkmenistan State News Agency reported on December 15 that in the week of December 9-15, 29 contracts were registered at the Turkmenistan State Commodity Raw Materials Exchange.
In terms of foreign exchange transactions, Afghan buyers purchased gasoline from the Shejin Refinery, and buyers from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Pakistan, Iran, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn and Sheepskin, the total contract value exceeds US$3.491 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from the United Arab Emirates, Scotland, Pakistan, and China purchased cotton yarn, with a contract value of more than 7.61 million manats.
In the domestic market, Turkmenistan’s domestic companies purchased cotton linters and cotton waste, with a transaction volume of more than 2,000 manats.
