Interfax, Almaty, December 11th, according to news released by the Kazakhstan Federation of Light Industry Producers, in order to improve the technical level of the textile industry, Kazakhstan has officially established the “Kazakhstan Light Industry Producers Federation”. “Textile Industry” Production Enterprise Federation, about 100 Kazakhstan’s domestic light textile enterprises have joined this organization. The federation will build a cooperation platform for enterprises and scientific research institutes in Kazakhstan and partner countries to increase the proportion of the textile industry in Kazakhstan’s GDP.
It is reported that there are currently 1,016 light textile companies in Kazakhstan. Among them, there are 12 large enterprises, 26 medium-sized enterprises and 978 small enterprises.
