According to Pakistan’s “Express Forum” report on November 10: In order to improve the international competitiveness and leadership of Pakistan’s textile industry, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Vice Chairman Zafar proposed 2019 Pakistan’s textile industry policy for 2024 should focus on promoting the export of high value-added products and do the following work: First, continue to improve the ease of doing business in Pakistan and reduce business costs; second, improve government service capabilities and provide business registration, A one-stop service platform for social security processing and tax payment; the third is to carry out research and development activities, use subsidized credit mechanisms to encourage textile exporters to produce high value-added products; the fourth is to deeply tap the potential of small and medium-sized textile enterprises; the fifth is to organize textile research forums , encourage the planting of genetically modified cotton varieties to produce organic cotton, and establish production centers in Pakistan to increase cotton production; sixth, encourage internationally recognized laboratories to establish testing centers in Pakistan to expand harmful substance testing; seventh, attract foreign investment and encourage the establishment of textile machinery and equipment joint ventures; The eighth is to build Pakistan’s textile brand, establish a textile export promotion center, and enhance international market visibility.
