According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to August 2019, the export value of textile yarn, fabrics and products at Xinjiang Port was 3.048 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.96%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 140.10 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.48%; the export value of textile machinery and parts was 228 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 126.08%.
From January to August 2019, the cotton import volume at Xinjiang ports was 1.288 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.39%; the total import volume of textile yarn, fabrics and products was 170 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.288 billion yuan. An increase of 53.44%; the import value of textile machinery and parts was 432 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 64.77%.
