On September 4, 2019, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled products are LovetoDream’s children’s pajamas sets: 2.5TOG pajamas with long sleeves and legs, 1.0TOG pajamas with short sleeves and legs, 0.2 TOG sleeveless pajamas with legs. Sizes are 6-12 months and 12-24 months. The specific recalled product information is as follows:
This product does not meet Canadian flammability requirements for children’s pajamas. This type of pajamas is loose and can easily come into contact with fire sources such as stoves and candles. Once ignited, it will burn quickly and may cause serious burns to a large area of the child’s body.
This product was sold in Canada from September 2018 to July 2019. This recall involves approximately 1,190 products.
As of August 29, 2019, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
Health Canada recommends that you stop immediately and contact the point of purchase for a full refund.
