Bangladesh apparel exports to US rise further

According to a report by Bangladesh’s “Independent” on August 20, amid trade tensions between China and the United States, as U.S. buyers shift orders from China to Bangladesh, Bangladesh’s response to U.S. apparel exports rose further. In the 2018/19 fiscal year, Bangladesh’s apparel exports to the United States totaled US$6.13 billion, compared with US$5.35 billion in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 14.49%.
