The suction flat screen is a joint cleaning equipment that combines screening and air separation. In addition to using a vibrating screen for screening, it can also use wind power to remove light impurities and some heavy impurities such as dust, husks, stems and leaves, debris, lint, etc. in cotton seeds. Suitable for cleaning cotton seeds.
The structure of the suction flat screen is shown in Figure 9-4. The cotton seeds enter the upper screen surface of the vibrating screen from the feeder (screen hole diameter 6mm), and the stiff flaps and large impurities are screened out. There is an air suction on the side of the feeder. It can absorb part of the fine dust. The cotton seeds enter the front section of the lower screen (the screen hole is a long hole of 3mm×50mm) to screen out mud, sand and long impurities, and the rear section (the screen hole is a circular hole with a diameter of 6.35mm) screens out some withered cotton seeds and broken pieces. son. The mud, sand, long impurities and dry debris are screened out by the two-layer screen surface and fall into the trash tray, and then they are cleared out by people or pushed out by a screw conveyor.
After the cotton seeds that have been screened twice come down from the lower screen surface, they flow directly into the entrance of the air selection chamber, and encounter a strong vertical upward airflow at the entrance. Because the cotton seeds are light, they can be blown into the air chamber, and stones, metals, etc. Heavy impurities that cannot be blown away will fall against the airflow and be winched out by the lower auger.
After the cotton seeds enter the air chamber, they are affected by the inertial force and impact the adjustable metal mesh at a high speed, knocking down the small sand and dust in the cotton seeds, and settling in the collection chamber through the metal mesh. It is sent out of the machine by the conveying screw, or discharged through the fan with the air flow, and then enters the sacron separation device. The cotton seeds settle in the air chamber, fall into the unloader below, and are discharged from the unloader through the discharge port.
